Menu covers should represent the uniqueness of your restaurant, especially the logo on the menus. If you’re familiar with graphic design, then you’ll most likely be creating your own logo. However, if you truly want a professional looking logo and you don’t have a clue about graphic design, then you should hire a professional graphic designer, discuss the logo you want and have them design the logo for you. Keep in mind that this will cost you, so set aside funds in your startup costs for the restaurant.

Make sure when you choose a logo that it isn’t something similar to another restaurant’s logo. Take the time necessary to ensure that all aspects of the menu and logo fit in with both the theme of your restaurant and your food choice. Consistence in design screams classy and detailed oriented, which conveys the same about the food being prepared.

When designing the menu covers , remember that the background should always be a light color, this way the text can be easily read. You can choose the opposite, a dark colored background with white text, but know that this can be hard to read for some patrons. As for the text size, it shouldn’t be too large as it might take up too much space, space that could be used for pictures or graphics. However, text shouldn’t be too small as in the size used for letter writing or for book reading.

The purpose for a great cover on a menu is to reflect your restaurant’s specialty and at the same time convey an atmosphere. The purpose for a great inside is to make ordering simple and fun.

It was somehow not so strange, and still very strange, the tuft of hair on the proprietor’s head, the grey patch, reminded me of my grandfather, who had the very same thing. His hair was a jet black except for that small patch on the back of his head. We all thought it quite fashionable, but he was always trying to comb the darker hairs over it, and was never successful. This man the owner of one of the most interesting and magnificent places to eat in Singapore, and my love for Italian food is already legendary in my home town.

I do love to come here, because there are so many cultures and ideas running through the city state. They say that it is a bit of the east and a bit of the west, and when one of these gets to be too much, you can always choose to enjoy the other. Or, alternatively, you can choose to despise if the pleasure gets to be too much, but it’s not the recommended option. It’s nice to have options, however, and the proprietor seemed to enjoy his grey tuft enough to not bother covering it. He said he was once a miller by trade, and remembered me from long ago.

I thought him to be a bit mad, because in truth I’d never met the man before, and my linguini with clam sauce was ready already I was sure. But as I looked him in the eye to confront him on his strange notions, I did suddenly recall a time when I was hungry, and going through my village to find a bite to eat. The local miller was the only one at home that night, and he would not feed me, saying that he was busy trying to discover what genetically-modified foods might cause as side effects. No sooner had he spoken that he was given to prancing on all fours, and became a donkey before my eyes. It would not be until years later, and this night in fact, that I recognized him as the most generous proprietor of any restaurant anywhere, and certainly reformed.

The variety of ways to experience the ships in the harbor in Baltimore, and at the Maritime Museum, are plentiful. From daily tours to educational programs to over night stays, this is one area wherein those fond of maritime history will find exactly what they are looking for. This is one of the most impressive collection of military and service ships in the world. And, perfect for the visitor or tourist, all of these ships are located within walking distance of each other as well as being situated amongst any one of the many Baltimore restaurant districts.

There is the US submarine, the Torsk, the incredible US Coast Guard Search and Rescue vessel the Cutter Taney, as well as the Lightship Chesapeake and the USS Constellation. Part of the exhibit down at the harbor includes the 7 Foot Knoll Lighthouse, which served to guide ships into the Baltimore Harbor from the Patapsco River for more one hundred and thirty years. The over night excursions offer a hands on experience, for the child and the the child within any adult who is fascinated with the sea and all she has to offer.

This offers a chance for children to understand the team work and the problem solving techniques that the sailors of yester year faced on a daily basis. Kids will actually walk in the footsteps of some of the most courageous and innovative men and women through history, be it on a WWII submarine or a Navy battleship. Ships that survived the attacks on Pearl Harbor are located within Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, and the history just overflows into the present. This is not only an educational opportunity, but one that is quite fun as well. For people of all ages, sleeping in hammocks and swabbing the deck, eating fresh seafood…what more can one look for, and find in an adventure through history in Baltimore?
