Part of the exhibit down at the harbor includes the 7 Foot Knoll Lighthouse, which served to guide ships into the Baltimore Harbor from the Patapsco River for more one hundred and thirty years. The over night excursions offer a hands on experience, for the child and the the child within any adult who is fascinated with the sea and all she has to offer.
This offers a chance for children to understand the team work and the problem solving techniques that the sailors of yester year faced on a daily basis.
